V3 Foundation
Since the much anticipated release of the books in May 2007, this course was the first approved course available under the new version. V3 reflects what happens in the 'real world' of IT, in that there is a lifecycle for each and every IT Service. V3 provides a holistic approach, incorporating functions and an integrated approach to the delivery of services. This approach immediately embraces all parts of the IT organisation and enables everyone to understand their role in the overall lifecycle.
ITIL V3 Foundation takes students past the process silos and introduces a larger syllabus in the form of the new 'lifecycle' over a fast-paced 3-day period, culminating in an examination at the end of the third day. ProActive's consultants will provide students with the tools they need to not only pass the examination, but, through the PureBlue simulation activity and the real-life experience our consultants relate to throughout the 3 days, to recognise the benefits of implementing ITIL in the workplace.
Please be aware that whereas, on a public V3 Foundation course, students are also given a no pass, no pay * offer, it is not possible to offer this for onsite training due to the much lower price charged. Our very high student exam pass rate (currently 92%) means that re-sits are seldom anyway.

PREREQUISITES
There are no prerequisites for this course, however practical IT Service Management experience would be an advantage.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This course is suitable for staff of all levels and forms the entrance criteria for future Version 3 Certification such as the Service Lifecycle and Capabilities Modules. Each course accrues credits towards the achievement of the ITIL Expert. It is designed for all staff involved with the delivery of IT services, as well as key IT customers, as it provides students with an overview of the entire Service Lifecycle.
