ITIL® Foundation
ITIL® V3 Foundation takes students past the process silos and introduces a larger syllabus in the form of the new 'lifecycle' over a fast-paced 3-day period, culminating in an examination at the end of the third day. ProActive's consultants will provide students with the tools they need to not only pass the examination, but, through the PureBlue simulation activity and the real-life experience our consultants relate to throughout the 3 days, to recognise the benefits of implementing ITIL in the workplace.
COURSE FORMAT
ProActive’s course format ensures that students get maximum benefit from the three days of training:
- Students benefit from peer group discussion
- Each student will receive a copy of the ‘ITIL V3 Foundation Handbook’, published by the OGC
- Course size is limited to 16 students
- All students receive a pre-course study guide electronically to help get the most out of the training investment
PREREQUISITES
- There are no prerequisites for this course, however practical IT Service Management experience would be an advantage.
CERTIFICATION & ASSESSMENT
- Assessment takes place at the end of the course and is a 1-hour multiple choice examination.
- It leads to international V3 'Foundation' level Certification from the UK-based Information Systems Examination Board (ISEB).
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
- This course is suitable for staff of all levels and forms the entrance criteria for future Version 3 Certification such as the Service Lifecycle and Capabilities Modules. Each course accrues credits towards the achievement of the ITIL Expert. It is designed for all staff involved with the delivery of IT services, as well as key IT customers, as it provides students with an overview of the entire Service Lifecycle.
