CobiT Essentials

In order for ITSM to be effective, it is acknowledged that ITSM professionals need to broaden their exposure to the key IT governance frameworks and standards necessary to enable organisational risk to be managed and to enable organisations to:

• Achieve IT – Business alignment
• Respond quickly to changing business needs
• Demonstrate effective corproate governance of IT, and
• Understand an organisation’s appetite for risk and implement and appropriate management framework.

COURSE FORMAT

• This three day course provides students with a Foundation level of understanding of CobiT, including the need for an IT Governance structure, the history of IT Governance, the CobiT framework, and gives guidance on applying CobiT in practice.
• ProActive are official licencees of CobiT content for training purposes, licenced by ISACA.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

• ITSM Professionals who want to gain insight into the CobiT framework and its use within organisations
• IT and business managers involved in the establishment and maintenance of a governance control framework; and
• IT Assurance staff (Risk and audit professionals) responsible for verifying the effectiveness of IT governance controls.
