MikeD14/05/2007 4:05:14 PM The most important thing is "Don't panic". On a typical exam paper, there will usually be one question that looks straightforward, one that looks like a 'stinker', and three that are reasonable. Start with the 'easy' one first, but be careful not to overrun your alloted 35 minutes. This gets you into the right mindset and you may start getting some good ideas about the other questions.

Even if you are still not sure of how to tackle the difficult question, at least have a go at it and put something down. You may pick up a few marks which is better than the 0/20 if you do not answer it at all.

Jon10/08/2007 7:24:51 PM Hi Tom,

Once you receive your Service Support & Service Strategy books, I'd suggest you read through the topics covered during module 1. They are Service Desk, Incident & Problem Management and Service Level Magement & Finance.

A lot to read I know but maybe start with Service Desk and Incident Mgt prior to the course and skim read the next day topic on the prior evening if you have time! Reading a couple of pages let alone a chapter at a time is hard work - so pace yourself and break it into managable chunks.

You should also receieve a study guide which will help you plan the rest of your Managers Revision. Good luck!
