Implementation Projects
Using our well established BasePlan methodology, ProActive can guide you through your implementation. Whether it be full assistance, from strategy planning through to go-live, or simply some coaching and mentoring, ProActive’s team will tailor a solution that meets your unique requirements.
The solution for implementation may comprise some, or all of the following services:

BaseTwo: CSIP Planning
BaseTwo – Continual Service Improvement Programme (CSIP) Planning is designed to define your programme plan for implementing improvements within the service organisation.
Planning is the most crucial step in the successful implementation of a CSIP as otherwise improvements tend to be ad-hoc, uncoordinated and less than effective. Establishing a formal CSIP ensures that the programme has the resources and budget required and should specifically be considered where the service strategy has been defined and where an assessment of the current situation has been completed. BaseTwo CSIP Planning ensures that the implementation of services improvements have a clear strategic benefit to your organisation – an objective which is critical to the success of the CSIP.
BaseThree: CSIP Management
BaseThree – CSIP Management is a suite of services that ensure a structured approach is taken in the management of your CSIP by referencing frameworks such as OGC's Managing Successful Programmes and Prince2 Project Management methodologies.
CSIP Management ensures your CSIP keeps on track as it progresses through the planning, design and implementation stages. The implementation usually breaks down into a series of projects, each of which will have a number of steps including Process Definition, tool selection (where appropriate) and process implementation. ProActive provides consultancy and training services to support the project implementation. An important component of the implementation is to effect cultural change and this is achieved through training and other specific activities.
BaseFour – Project Planning
BaseFour – Project Planning applies project management principles to scope and define a project. This is covered via a workshops / planning sessions with project stakeholders to gather all the appropriate information for the design, build and implementation of the project deliverables so that a detailed project plan and project schedule can be produced.
BaseFive: Design
BaseFive: Design comprises the activities required to define all of the elements of the service management capability that is being improved in terms of People, Process and Tools and Technology. Many of these activities can be covered by workshops and focused sessions.
A number of different services can be carried out under the BaseFive service . Once your organisation has instigated a CSIP and planned one or more projects to achieve the improvements, definition of ITSM processes and the development of a Service Catalogue can commence.. Base Five – Design utilises world's best practice, is quick and effective, eases implementation, but also fits the unique character of your organisation. A ProActive consultant will guide your staff to produce process definitions tailored to meet the specific requirements of your organisation.
BaseSix: Deployment
BaseSix: Deployment addresses the implementation and rollout of project deliverables into the production environment. This may require coordinating the deployment of several deliverables and/or streams at one time e.g. Process, Tool and Organisation.
BaseSix - Deployment derives the critical path towards "Go Live" and ensures all dependencies and interdependencies are addressed and that the implementation is resourced correctly.
